Changes since the last beta version:
New hexadecimal number format uses signed hex values rather than a minus sign. For example, -128 = 0x80 and +128 is forced to the 2 byte value 0x0080. The limits for each of the size parameters are now - 1 byte -> -128 to 127, 2 bytes -> -32768 to 32767, and 4 bytes -> -2147483648 to 2147483647. Thanks to Roger Krupski for all of his input.
There's an ugly bug in all 1.9+ versions with 2D contour plots that use "Specify size" that causes the drawing scale to be fouled up. This bug was introduced when adding the ability to use negative scale factors, and is fixed in this beta.
