|
|
Hello David --
When opening a file - CaseSensitive.grf - modifying and saving the file the name is no longer case sensitive, i.e. casesensitive.grf
This is not the case (no pun) if I Save As and make the file name case sensitive.
Is it possible to preserve the case of the file name when using the Save feature?

Len,
I thought this sounded familiar, and it should have. I'm guessing you need an update, as this was addressed a couple of revisions ago.
If that's not your experience with the latest release, please let me know which version of Windows you're running and exactly how you open and save the file. _________________ Visualize Your Data

Thanks David.
I am using Version 2.3.4.3 – I think that is the current version as of 14 July?
BTW – I could not find on the DPlot web site the current Version number.
I am using Windows 7 Service Pack 1
Assume a file named CaseSensitive.grf exists.
I double click the file name and DPlot opens the file.
I modify the plot and do a File > Save
The file is now listed in the directory as casesensitive.grf
If I do a File> Save As the same loss of case sensitivity occurs in the file name window.
The workaround is to do a File > Save As and click on the old name cased name in the directory listing.

I don't know. I'm not seeing the same behavior here but I'll look into it. _________________ Visualize Your Data
