The supplied sample file FCTEST is very helpful for using DPlotjr with Fortran.
My suggestion is that FCTEST be expanded to include many more examples of different classes of plots.

Source code links were provided by e-mail for Compaq Visual FORTRAN (which presumably will work with Intel FORTRAN). For others interested who might read this, get
http://www.dplot.com/dplotlib/dplot.fi
http://www.dplot.com/dplotlib/ftest.for
and replace the existing copies of those files in \dplotlib\fctest.
Here's the rub: My installed version of Compaq Visual FORTRAN has lost its mind after years of me ignoring it, and I can't seem to get anything to work at the moment. So some of this is guesswork. The WATCOM-compiled version of the same source is available from
http://www.dplot.com/dplotlib/ftest.exe
...which might be useful to you just to prove everything works as it should. The WATCOM example performs the same operations as the ctest.exe example and as far as I've seen does it correctly.
Your comments are of course welcome and beat the heck out of me buying a compiler I'll rarely use for $1899
