Hi
I have data in all the four quadrants of XY plot and I have a polar plot.
I need to overlay one on the other. I did use the method suggested at
http://www.dplot.com/blog/2009/07/plot-overlays.html

I do find that the data is non linearly transformed.

Is there a simple way of doing this [can I over lay the transparent gifs]

"I do find that the data is non linearly transformed."

If you set the physical size of each plot using Options>Extents/Intervals/Size then this should not happen. If you try this and still have a problem please send both files to me.

Options>Background Image will do this, but you'd first need to crop the GIF in an image editor so that it includes only the extents of the plot (no title lines, axis labels, etc.)

Nevermind on the first - I had forgotten how this worked, and there is no way that OverlayDocument will do what you want here.

Options>Background Image is the only way I can think of to do this within DPlot.
