Moving Around in 3D Plot

Post by AlexanderDavid »

Is it possible to move around in a 3D plot? I have found that you can change the contour options in the settings but I haven't found anything that allows panning with the mouse. I was thinking about writing a little program that just changes the relative elevation and azimuth but that seems kludge. Does anyone have a solution?

In a 3D view you cannot pan or zoom. The entire surface will always be shown.

If you really just want to spin the plot around, you can use the arrow keys (see Keyboard Shortcuts in the Help file) to spin the plot by 1 or 5 degrees. Or if you want to create an animation see dplotlib\ctest.exe with option 15.
