attempting to use "delete thin triangles" on a fairly small data file in Shaded Band plot. Status of "Deleting thin triangles, pass 1" doesn't change. Cursor showing busy. Clicking on DPLOT title bar brings up "(Not Responding).

Using Dplot version 2.3.5.5. Windows 7 32-bit Task manager shows 50% CPU usage.

After 20 minutes, still not responding. I will let run as long as I can stand to see if it finishes.

There's no need to let it run. Something has fouled up. Please save your graph as a DPlot file and send it to me.

Thanks for the file. At first glance it appears that almost all of the triangles qualify as "thin". You can see this if you turn on "Borders" under "Contour Options". That's not to excuse the apparent endless loop, but if this did work as expected I don't think the results would be what you want.

I'll figure this out eventually, but even when fixed I think you'll be better off manually deleting the triangles you don't want with Edit>Delete Triangles.

Thanks David.
Any suggestions on masking the center of a circular shaded band plot?

It depends on the density of the points whether Options>Define Boundary will be useful. See the example in the Help file for the Define Boundary command. If they're spaced at 1 degree or less, you'll probably find this too
tedious.
