Zooming - horizontal only

Post by Roberto »

Hi,

When zooming in, it sometimes is desired that Y ratio stays the same while x-ratio is increased/decreased.

Currently both, x and y directions are zoomed in.

Would be handy to have this option in DPlot.

Currently this works the way you want with the mouse wheel only- press CTRL to restrict zooming to X direction, SHIFT to restrict zooming to Y. I agree it would be useful for general zooming - using the toolbar button or clicking/dragging.

Hi,

With the new release (2347) I was excited to see horizontal zooming only was added. Works very nice but got more excited when discovering mousewheel and cursor keys were working as well for zooming and navigating through the plot!

Wanted to say thank you and for confirming it's working I went to this forum ... noticing the reply below I don't remember having it seen: apparently there were options before indeed!

Nevertheless all-together zooming and navigating through plots using zoombuttons, shift and ctrl keys, 1-5 keys, mouse wheel and arrow keys became very flexible and practical.

Thanks for the update containing once again quite a few fixes and new features!
