Hello David --

I open an existing DPlot with X-Extents of say 0.0 to 0.4.
Via Excel I add a new curve, with Xmin 0 and Xmax 15.
The updated DPlot now has X-Extents of 14.8 and 15.2 ?

I guess attachments are not allowed in this forum, but I can send examples files upon request.

DPlot Version 2.3.4.3 Windows-7 64-bit

Thanks, --len

Len,
Thanks for the files. I'll fix this as soon as possible. There are several workarounds until then.

1) Before using the Add-In, uncheck "Specify Extents" under Options>Extents/Intervals/Size. After using the Add-In go back and check "Specify extents" and reset your previous values. But come to think of it you could skip the first step and do this anyway, so that's not really much of a workaround.

2) Copy/Paste or File>Append. For your particular data Copy/Paste won't lose any information, but for other data sets with more significant figures, it might - depending on the formatting you're using.

Thanks for pointing out the problem.

Thanks David.

I have been using the 'short form' of Work Around #1 :)

I don't think Copy/Paste will work with XYYY data.

This Extent problem is more an annoyance than a problem, so I will wait for the update.

Thanks again, --len
