I am creating several graphs that all need to have the same XY labels and reference lines. Is it possible to create a template that has the correct reference lines and labels already on it and then import the data from Microsoft Excel? If so can you point me in the right direction. I am new to D Plot.

Thanks

See File>Get Preferences and Save Preferences.

If you're using the Excel Add-In and you're producing all of these plots at once (or don't mind re-opening an old one), there is a simpler way: On the Add-In menu in Excel select Options, then check "Use settings for current plot". Any subsequent plots you create with the Add-In will use all of the settings (line style and width, symbol style and size, colors, reference lines, etc.) as the currently open document. So if you're doing this all at once, just leave the initial plot open in DPlot after getting it looking like you want, and you'll be all set.

Thanks. This is a huge help but I cannot get the XY Labels to save as a preference. Is this possible? The reference lines appear but the lables I put on each one does not.

That's an oversight, sorry. I'll add those labels to preference files in the next release.

This is done (on my system only) and will be turned loose by this coming weekend.

If you have a bad need for this change let me know privately. Otherwise another solution is to write a macro that creates all of your labels using a series of XYLabel commands. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks. I do not have a bad need for the reply at this time. I was just wondering if it was possible. I appreciate the replies and the help.
