In the Symbol/LineStyles dialog, there are a set of standard sysmbols, and then 3 windings fonts. Is there way to add a cusom symbol, and/or define such a symbol

How about just selecting them in the select label box in the point labels dialog? Select holding shift key down. No need to do it graphically eh?

When I save a contour plot as a jpg, the image appears to be slightly clipped, so that it loses the text of the numbers on the legend at the right hand side (version 2.3.0.3)
