Applications may send data directly to DPlot (rather than writing to a file) through Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). A discussion of those procedures is beyond the scope of this documentation. DPLOTLIB.DLL (a dynamic link library distributed with DPlot Jr and also as a separate download from the DPlot web site) contains several functions that isolate your application from the complexities of the Windows Dynamic Data Exchange Management Library. You can make a single function call to produce a plot in DPlot or DPlot Jr from your own application. The distribution for DPLOTLIB (not included with DPlot for the sake of download size) includes examples for Visual Basic, PowerBasic, several C/C++ compilers, VB.NET, C#, and a variety of FORTRAN compilers. You can download DPLOTLIB and examples from http://www.dplot.com/lib/dplotlib.zip.
