Getting Started with XYZ Surface Plots - Entering Data Values

If you are not already working with an existing 3D surface plot, first select New>3D Surface on the File menu. Select the Edit data command on the Edit menu to enter new data values or edit and/or delete existing values. For randomly-spaced 3D points, when you click OK DPlot will generate a new triangular mesh based on the existing data values.

Shortcut:

Click  on the toolbar.
