I am very new to DPlot and have a few simple questions. If I have a 3D scatter plot is it possible to have a different background color for the base of the plot? Is it possible to change the color of the other two backgrounds as well?

You can use a single color on all 3 planes. See "Plot bg" on the Scatter Plot Options dialog. But there is no way to specify different colors for each plane.
