Labeling data points-- arrow heads

Labeling a data point places a label box with an arrow pointing to the data point...

can the arrow head be changed to a different symbol, like a dot or a square (hollow or filled, selectable size)...?

You can change the size on the Label Points dialog, but otherwise: no. That's a good suggestion, though.
