I want to announced you that I lunched DplotXYServer. This is a program which creates Dplot graphs by translating text from the DplotXYServer script file into a graph through the DDE with the DPlot or DPlotJr programme. The need to write an interface between the user and the DPlot program emerged during my research work. Often I had to produce many similar graphs to get visual insight into the analyses of different problems or to prepare many similar graphs for reports and presentations. I wrote a lot of different programs with a common core which was used to pass data to the DPlot program through the DDE protocol. Often I forgot what the purpose of the specific program was and which calls were modified for a particular data analysis. Therefore, I decided to group basic commands into the DPlotXYServer to speed up the creation of simple graphs from raw data merely by using simple script commands without editing and recompiling the main program code. Despite the lost flexibility this approach proved acceptable from the point of productivity since endless clicking and typing of similar text explanations for each created graph takes us quite a lot of time.
