Text - Label Data Points - Zeroing previous label and positi

Post by Schwer »

Version 2.3.5.3 Windows 7 64 bit

When I attempt to place labels on a plot using Absolute Location, the first such label works fine. When I attempt to add the second label, the first label is removed and the location coordinates zeroes.

I can send the *.grf file upon request and will attempt to add screen captures to this message.

Not sure how to include screen captures - I will email directly[/img]

Len,
Please do (send files). I tried this just now and it worked as expected. So we must be doing something differently.

In the screenshots you sent, the second label is selected (not the first). If you select the first label the coordinates for it should be shown.

The first screen shot selects Curve #1 and the label "Perfect Plastic"

The second screen shot selects Curve #2 and the label "Beam/Truss"
In this screen shot you can see the Perfect Plastic label near the top of the graph

The third screen shot selects Curve #1 but now the label "Perfect Plastic" is missing from the graph - I assume because it was somehow removed when the second label was entered. This screen shot does not reset the label, it just attempts to view the previously (screen shot 1) label information.

I hope this makes sense to you

Sorry David.

I was confusing when to select the curve and when to select the label.
One has to first add the label and then select the curve.
